How To Create An On-Line Presence To share What You Love

I have always been put off by social media and the digital age. But if I was to be totally honest, this was something I constantly told myself to mask how insecure I was. The internet was this big unknown and I secretly believed that I wouldn’t have the ability, intelligence,  or patience to learn a new skill. My excuse was that I was in my mid-40s and pretty set in my ways.  I believed that pursuing my passion and being spiritually and financially independent just didn’t go hand in hand and that I would have to be dependent on others for the rest of my life.

And it wasn’t until a crisis hit that I knew that I couldn’t be in denial any more. It was groundhog day and I felt like I was simply going through the motions every day, repeatedly like an automaton. Life was no longer a joy and I started to worry if I would be able to take care of myself in the future.  When I saw this,  I made the decision to be in control of my mind and not to be frightened anymore. I started to take drastic action, took steps to constantly step out of my comfort zone and to invest in myself.

That decision led me to find the SFM team. They are a group of dedicated people who not only have the world-class expertise and technical know-how to help someone like me navigate the vast ocean of the internet but they are also spiritual. Their integrity and helpfulness blew me away. They are the real deal. They are not some get-rich-quick scheme.

They are upfront about what I had to learn in order to be a happy and successful person. They taught me that success and happiness are not two separate things. They also have a friendly staff who have truly met me exactly where I am at every stage of the game. Their team is incredible. It does not matter if you are a 20-year-old or a 70 or 80-year-old. They will support you at any level of experience.

In all my years, I never thought I would design my own website and actually have fun doing it and what’s more,  an online business that I am truly passionate about and puts a sparkle in my eye. Yes, there were plenty of hours of frustration and months of education and processing and fine-tuning and organizing,  but that comes with learning anything new. It was a really steep learning curve for me and though I felt like I giving up many times,  I am glad I stuck with it. The SFM team had my back.  I needed to learn patience and trust my decision not to be afraid anymore. I wanted to treat myself with respect.

Never in all my years, did I think it was possible for me to get in front of a camera, speak from my heart and start an online business where I could offer yoga instruction and mentoring,  something that I find absolutely meaningful and believe can add value to other people’s lives.

The internet can be a place for anonymity in mean-spiritedness but that doesn’t detract from the value we can connect to people from all over the world and help each other find real solutions to our lives.
